Join Friends of Trees and the City of Salem for the first of this year’s three planting events at the Minto Island Conservation Area. We will be planting native trees and shrubs along the new multi-use path connecting Riverfront Park with the greater Minto Brown Island Park.
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots - and be ready to have fun!
How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out our quick Registration Form (https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/). Registration is highly recommended but not required.
Under age 18? A signed youth waiver(https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you out there!
