Our mission is to be the premiere provider of palliative and hospice services for patients and their caregivers needing care and support during the final stages of life. We are dedicated to promoting wellness at the end of life, as well as preventing and treating distressing symptoms or conditions that might otherwise threaten the quality of life for our patients and families. We compassionately provide quality services, sensitive to the values, interests, capabilities and needs of those we serve, in a cost-effective manner and in a variety of settings.
What makes By the Bay Health unique! It was founded by volunteers as a non-profit, end-of-life healthcare provider in 1975. It was created by the community to serve the community. As the second oldest hospice in the U.S., By The Bay Health has the depth of experience to understand the medical, practical, emotional and spiritual care patients and their families need during the end of life experience. From its grassroots foundation by community volunteers (then named Hospice of Marin), By The Bay Health remains at the vanguard of the hospice industry and a premier, regional provider of end-of-life care.
We'll work with your schedule.
