Project Worthmore was founded in 2011 by Frank and Carolyn Anello as a response to the acute need for assistance of the refugee families in their community. From their start offering makeshift English classes in living rooms, they now offer six comprehensive programs to thousands of refugee clients. Around half of the staff are from the refugee community, helping them to better listen, empower and support those who have come here to rebuild their lives.

Project Worthmore needs our help to throw a festive and fun holiday party for our refugee community! Their annual holiday party is a great time to remind our refugee neighbors that they are cared for and to spread some cheer during this season.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

Project Helping volunteers will help spread holiday cheer by passing out gifts to refugee children from all over the world. Volunteers will help with organizing and distributing toys. Four volunteers will wear elf aprons and hats (to be supplied) and the rest of the volunteers will work behind the table organizing toys. As space is limited, make sure to register before participating in this great event!
