In need of 1-3 volunteers to teach a bullying prevention program. The program is broken into different age groups. I need someone to teach the 3rd grade, 4th/5th, and 6th/7th grade curriculum. It can be the same person on three different days or three different volunteers. We have all the materials needed to get started. The plan is to meet once a week for one hour with each group. The time will depend on the volunteers availability; however the later the time slot, the fewer kids there will be in attendance. The program would go on for about 22 weeks. The 4/5th curriculum has 11 lessons (less than the 3rd grade curriculum). The 6/7th has 15 lessons. Posters, DVDs, worksheets, teaching materials, & teacher guides on what to say & how to lead the discussions & program are provided. Staff helper will also be provided during each class. The volunteer will also want to devote 30 minutes of prep time each week.
