We are looking for a volunteer or two to help us sort books, stock shelving, and help us manage and run our satellite location at Northwest Middle School under the leadership of our volunteer lead. These volunteers may be asked to work at our regular store, 1800 East 10th Street, or may be asked to help at Northwest middle school, 5525 W. 34th Street, Indianapolis, IN . This is a great opportunity for anyone who is retired or looking for a way to get involved while the kids are at school or just have a great community to be part of as an important member.

Mission Statement
Teachers' Treasures obtains and distributes school supplies to teachers of classrooms and students in need.
Description
Every day at public, charter, private, and parochial schools located throughout Marion County, children of all ages attend class without the most basic supplies they need to get a good education. Dedicated teachers are often willing to pay for these much needed supplies out of their own pockets to make sure the kids in their classrooms have the necessary tools to learn.
Teachers' Treasures, in partnership with local businesses, charitable foundations, neighborhood organizations and individual contributors, helps fill this need by operating a volunteer based "Free Store for Teachers." Donated educational supplies and other materials are distributed via this unique conduit to teachers for the benefit of their students.
Teachers' Treasures offers a variety of group volunteer activities that can be tailored to your group or organization. Please contact Hanna Yaeger-Busch at hanna@teacherstreasures.org or call 317-264-1758 for more information.
Teachers who volunteer 2 or more hours can earn extra shopping passes. Teachers who are normally ineligible to shop can also volunteer to earn opportunities to shop.
