Are you interested in serving families residing at the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida this holiday season? Looking to bring some holiday cheer and support to families with hospitalized children? Then volunteering at RMHCNCF as a Holiday Volunteer could be right for you!
We are seeking individual volunteers to assist on a short term, temporary basis with our in-house Toy Shop for families in residence at RMHCNCF through the holiday season. Duties include assisting with toy selection, general tidying and cleanliness of the Toy Shop, and gift wrapping. Hours are flexible between 9am and 7pm December 12th, 2018 - December 23rd, 2018.
Spots for Holiday Toy Shop Volunteers are limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis. We are only able to accomodate 1 - 2 volunteers per day the Toy Shop is open for families. Groups are welcome if they spread across a series of days.

Description
OUR TWO MAIN PROGRAMS
Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville, Florida provides temporary housing, basic amenities and support to families with critically ill children being treated at area medical facilities.
Ronald McDonald Family Room located at Shands UF Children's Hospital on the 10th floor, adjacent to the pediatric intensive care unit, provides comfort and support to local families who do not need to stay overnight at the Ronald McDonald House, or to out-of-town families who choose not to leave the hospital because of the fragile condition of their child.
