Volunteers are needed each Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to help bring our residents to Sabbath services. On Fridays we are in need of volunteers from 3:00-4:15pm to help bring residents to our Welcoming in the Shabbat service, and on Saturdays volunteers are needed for our morning Sabbat services from 9:00am-11:15am. Volunteers will go to residents floors and assist those in wheelchairs by bringing them to our auditorium. After the service is finished volunteers will assist residents back upstairs.
Volunteers are needed weekly, but we will work with the schedule of volunteers who would like to come in biweekly instead.

Description
The Jewish Home of Rochester was established in 1923. We are a 362-bed facility, which includes a 68-bed Transitional Care rehabilitation program and a 37-bed dementia unit. Our organization also provides a Day Care program, Outpatient Rehabilitation and At Home Services.
