We are looking for volunteers to help us celebrate the building at this event called 'Together Women Rise' that will happen on May 16th from 5-9 pm at The Women's Building. This event will celebrate the building, the community, and each and every one of you who continues to contribute to and support our work.
We need volunteer support from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with set up, greeting and registration, food and drink, handing out donations, de-escalation assistance, social media, stage managing, and more!
Set-up: set-up will be specifically for waiting area and donation/resource table. Volunteers must be available at 5 pm.
Greeting and Registration: We are looking for volunteers to help us greet all incoming guest. In addition to greeting, volunteers will help us with translations, therefore multi-lingual people are encouraged to apply. We are particularly looking for people who speak Cantonese and Spanish!
(Spanish-English) Translation: We would like to have at least one Spanish- English translator at the registration at all times.
Donations Table: We are looking for volunteers to help us hand out donations.
Merchandise Table: We are looking for volunteers to help us sell promotional material such as shirts, pins, and more.
Food and Drink Table: We are looking for volunteers to help keep this table clean and organized. Alcohol servers will need to be 21+ age and preferably know how to tap a keg.
Break-Down/Clean-up: Help us get the space back to its original state.
