Please join the Partners for World Health Special Events Committee to plan various fun events! We need volunteers to plan, solicit donations, and help on the day of the event.
Current annual events include Portland 4 Miler (Nov), International Artisan Craft Fair (Dec) and other fun and exciting opportunities!
Meetings are held monthly but no worries if you can't make it in person we have a conference line!

Mission Statement
To improve health care and reduce environmental impact by collecting surplus medical equipment and supplies and distributing them to communities in need globally and locally.
Description
Partners for World Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that collects usable medical supplies from healthcare facilities in Maine, NH, VT & MA which are being discarded due to government regulations and ships them to countries in need. In addition, we organize medical missions to Southeast Asia and Africa for doctors, nurses, non medical professionals and students. We strive to send a team of medical personnel to every country where we ship a container of medical supplies. We are committed to educating our community members about the importance of recycling and the disparities in healthcare around the world. We work with other organizations to share resources to better our communities at home as well as overseas.
