Pathway Caring for Children Pathway serves young adults between the ages of 18-21 who have aged out of the foster care system. With help from Pathway, these young adults move into apartments and appreciate any donations for household items and furniture to make their apartment a home. Pathway is looking for a volunteer with a pickup truck or van who is willing to load furniture and other household items from donation sites and deliver to the young adult's apartment. Pathway receives offers for donated items frequently, but has difficulty finding transporting large enough to fit items, i.e. beds, mattresses, couches, etc.
The locations will vary, but many of the young adults live in Stark, Summit and Cuyahoga counties.

Mission Statement
Pathway Caring for Children's mission is to help children and families realize the possibilities of their lives through foster care, adoption, and mental health.
Description
Jim and Velma Bridges founded Pathway Caring for Children in 1973. We have grown from our humble beginnings as one group home for f our boys to a full-service agency meeting the foster care, adoption, and mental health needs of over 1000 children and their families. In 2023, Pathway is celebrating a half-century of serving vulnerable children and families in Northeast Ohio. Our anniversary theme is "Here’s to 50 More" as we look to the future to continue to provide vital services in our community.
