We would like to partner with a Volunteer who is available as bqck-up, 2 times per month on Tuesdays, 4pm - 5:30pm, to monitor our participants in a bowling league. This is a small group of independent adult individuals who have special needs and they are good bowlers! They have been participating as bowlers for years. You will have plenty of advanced notice anytime you are needed. You will receive training and spend some time with our long-standing volunteer to learn the duties you will handle, which may include taking roll call, making sure everyone knows their lane assignments, and seeing everybody off in their own mode of transportation as they leave in order to assure their safety.
The league meets at Winnetka Bowling Lanes in Winnetka CA every Tuesday afternoon, from about 4:00pm to about 5:30pm, sometimes until 6:00pm -- maximum 2 1/2 hours if someone's transportation arrives late. Everyone is pleasant and likes to have lots of fun. After volunteering for awhile, it there comes a time in the future that you would want to establish a more routine schedule, that may be an option.
If this sounds like a fit for you, please contact us today -- we would love to hear from you and see how we can collaborate! Thank you!
