We are the premiere theatre in Sanford, FL with a 490 seat venue and events every weekend! We are completely volunteer run and we are looking to add a lot of volunteers to our usher army!
The usher group is lead by our volunteer coordinator, Dennis Jefferson. Every month, a list is sent out containing all of our events and you just sign up for what you are available for. Ushers are called 90 minutes before showtime to prep the house for our guests for the show. During the show, ushers are invited to watch the show.
With our exciting incentive program, ushers are regularly recognized and can receive free tickets to all the shows (tickets you can gift or use when you're not working!). Ushers are expected to work a minimum of 3 shows every 6 months to stay on the roster. Volunteers on this team can also learn to work the concession stand, which requires an hour long online course to be certified to serve alcohol.
This is a great opportunity for residents of Seminole County looking to join an active and social family of theatre and music enthusiasts! Must be 16 years or older to usher.
