SUPER School, Inc is looking for a volunteer board member to serve on its Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Be an active advocate and ambassador for the values, mission, and vision of SUPER School, Inc.
• Attend monthly board meetings, committee meetings, and other important events, staying informed about board matters and preparing well for meeting
• Build a collegial working relationship with board members
• Participate in fund-raising for the school
• Carry out additional work relevant to current/prior work experience
• Use personal and professional contacts and expertise for the benefit of Super School, Inc.
• Contribute approximately 4-6 hours per month toward service, including: board meetings, committee meetings, and attending special events

Experience:

A leader and a professional who works in Indianapolis and has a heart to serve others and support education in the local community.

Experience in one of the following areas is preferred, but not required.

* Finance or accounting

* Human resources

* Prior board experience

* Multicultural work environment
