DemocracyLab is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager, to help develop and launch DemocracyLab's digital marketing strategy in-line with its mission and vision. Much like an early-stage startup, there is an emphasis on building process infrastructure for the organization's long-term growth plans. We are a group of volunteer self-starters working autonomously at our own time, and our own pace and we are looking for similar candidates that share our passion for DemocracyLab's vision and mission.
Digital Marketing and Communications
Design digital marketing plans and strategies to drive brand awareness, project & volunteer engagement.
Create and disseminate original and editorial content (video, copy, audio, photography, etc.) through DemocracyLab's platforms.
Strategize and manage all digital and social media advertising campaigns, including the creation of ad images and copy, budget allocation, and ROI tracking.
Strategize and manage Pay-Per-Click advertising via Google Grant and paid Adword accounts.
Analyze web traffic and conversion data and make recommendations for improvements based upon findings.
Ensure website design remains up to date with the organization’s needs. Lead process for any site improvements or redesigns, working closely with the Director of Product and Executive Director.

DemocracyLab helps tech for good projects launch innovative solutions by connecting skilled volunteers to projects that need them. We are open to projects from individuals, community organizations, non-profits, social purpose companies and government agencies. Our platform helps volunteers give back and develop new skills, while accelerating the evolution of new technologies that empower citizens and help institutions become more accessible, accountable, and efficient.
