Have you been touched by cancer? Are you interested in attending community events as a volunteer representative for the American Cancer Society?
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The American Cancer Society is currently recruiting volunteers to serve as American Cancer Society Ambassadors who would be representatives for us in the community. These volunteers will attend community events throughout the year to help us spread the word about the amazing programs and services available for those affected by cancer.
Events can include: health fairs, marathons/runs, tabling events, Chamber events, community festivals, hospital/cancer center events, health conferences
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must attend one in-person training - next training is on 1/12/19
- Must be able to attend a minimum of 2 events during the length of the year
- Flexible - pick the events you are able to attend based on your schedule! No monthly meetings
- Must be at least 18 years of age
