ORGANIZATION: San Jose Public Library - West Valley Branch Library

The West Valley Branch Library needs an adult volunteer to help supervise a group of teen volunteers for the library's Homework Club. The Club ONLY meets on Mondays from 4pm-6pm. The Homework Club Supervisor would be responsible for arriving at the library each Monday by 3:45pm to make sure the room is set up for the program. The Supervisor would monitor the teen volunteers and children attending the program. The Supervisor may tutor children as needed. The Supervisor would also be responsible for making sure the room is cleaned up after the program ends at 6pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or teens in an educational setting. However, any adult with a passion for supporting the educational success of children will be considered.
