The Housing First Concord Program of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness provides case worker support and rental vouchers and helps clients who have experienced chronic homelessness find an apartment and settle in long term. Volunteers are needed to provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other errands for clients who are permanently housed but lack transportation.

Description
Assistance with Dignity
The Concord Homeless Resource Center is a program of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness. Since December 2008, the Resource Center has sought to help guests who are currently homeless, or in imminent danger of becoming homeless, discover and connect with resources that are available to them.
Emergency Winter Shelter: Due to the pandemic, we were able to move shelter operations to a new, larger site at the former First Church. The shelter will open December 1, 2021 for the winter season. It is a place for adult individuals with no other options to be safe, warm and dry for the night during the winter season.
