The LGBT Senior Alliance is a joint program between OutReach and the Madison Senior Center (MSC). The Steering Committee is responsible for planning and implementing programming geared towards LGBT seniors. The committee is comprised of staff from both OutReach and MSC, as well as community members.
We are looking for passionate, dedicated, outgoing, responsible, innovative, and reliable volunteers to serve on the committee.
We meet every other month at rotating locations at OutReach and MSC. Meetings typically last about an hour.
Programming for the LGBT Senior Alliance includes monthly social group, quarterly social/dinner events, and other community events as planned.
Committee members are responsible for attending committee meetings and attending social events.

We offer various social and support groups, peer counseling, information and referrals to LGBT-affirming services, a lending library, Speaker's Bureau, cybercenter services, and a safe meeting space.
