OTHER INFO & FAQ:

  • Can I bring a group?
    • Absolutely! We love to see groups come out to support our mission. We do ask that you keep your group size to a maximum of 10. If you are looking to bring in a group larger than 10, please note that we may need to split your group up to work different sites or shifts. Group leaders are required to provide us with individual names and email addresses for group members.

  • Can I bring my youth or teen volunteer if they are not 18?
    • Children of all ages are invited to be Donation Collectors! Although we do not permit those under 18 to hold buckets, youth are welcome to hold signs. Everyone under 18 is required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youth groups must also have adult chaperones. Look below to see our chaperone guidelines:
      • For kindergarteners or younger, we ask for a chaperone for every 1-2 youth.
      • For elementary school, we ask for a chaperone for every 2-3 youth.
      • For junior high or high school, we ask for a chaperone for every 4-5 youth.

  • Parking: Parking is free!
  • Hours Reporting: Northwest Harvest is more than happy to sign off on hours for any work or school purposes. Unfortunately, we cannot provide confirmation of hours for any court-related situations.
  • Weather: Please expect traditional winter temperatures. Please dress in warm clothes and expect rain, as you will be outside for the duration of your shift.
