Reporting to the Meta volunteer of the People Management Team and the Sr. Training & Development Specialist. The Training and Development Specialist is an integral part in the success of Match4Action. The Training and Development Specialist works in a collaborative team environment and uses instructional design and adult learning methodologies to analyze volunteer training needs, and conduct organization-wide tracking of all trainings. This requires interacting with all volunteers

Responsibilities

• Identify and formulate the learning strategy of the organization.
• Assist with the design and execute learning activities that are engaging and support learning objectives of the organization.
• Conduct feedback surveys, focus groups, interviews and observations to identify training needs.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement training presentations to engage and develop our volunteers (Design of engaging training modules basis various target groups).
• Conduct various training and development presentations that are in place.
• Evaluate, track training hours, % Volunteer coverage, follow-up on programs to ensure goal accomplishments and business outcomes.

Qualifications Preferred

• Minimum of 5 hours volunteer engagement per week.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in Human Resources preferred; with training and development experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter, able to work virtually, independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a startup phase non-profit organization.
