Volunteers will take and keep track of donors gifts, wrap nicely, and make sure all gifts taken in are given back to correct person and look nicely wrapped, labeled with correct recipient. This helps bring more donors in during a time we need blood in December. Outcome is that donors are happy with the wrapping, gifts look great, more donors come in December, and volunteers have fun doing this activity.

Details: Essential Functions: Upon arrival look at supplies so you know where everything is. Keep area neat and orderly throughout the shift. Track incoming gifts with donor name, wrap gifts neatly, return gifts to donor. Specifically follow these steps: 1.Greet donor with hello, good morning/afternoon, etc. 2. Have donor sign their name, description of each gift on the sign in sheet, keep gifts together in labeled box, give donor # of their box. 3. Donor completes the TO: FROM: label and puts with each gift - attach using the post it note or tuck in a corner of box, etc so it’s not lost. 4. Keep all gifts from same donor TOGETHER. Only wrap gifts from same donor at a time so don’t mix up gifts. 5. Keep gifts in order and labeled to keep track of everything. 6.
