Do you want to give back to your community through working with children and youth? Do you
want to make a difference in a child’s life?
Million Little is a nonprofit organization that supports the healing process of at risk children and youth
through creativity and mindfulness programs.
When you become a volunteer with Million Little, you will:
-develop facilitation skills that will transfer to future jobs and endeavors
-earn service hours and experience for your resume
-meet new friends through creative, fulfilling work
-gain a sense of purpose as a positive force in children’s lives
Where:
Various program sites including juvenile detention camp, school, and other social service agencies in Santa Clarita Valley and beyond.
When:
Enrolling now to be in the field in early 2019!
Volunteers must:
-be at least 18 years of age, with valid drivers license
-be able to lift about 25-30 pounds, and move materials on carts around program sites
-be willing to commit 4 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months
-pass a background check
-participate in Level I Training (will be held one Saturday in January and February)

Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers and supports the healing process of children and their families who have experienced trauma through the power of creativity. Incarcerated teens, foster youth, those in poverty and those suffering from violence/adversity are all part of the population that Million Little serves.
Description
Million Little delivers therapeutic arts programming, youth resources, educational workshops and trainings as a means to support the healthy social and emotional development and healing process of at-risk children and families in Los Angeles County and beyond.
