Support the Enlisted Project (STEP) assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted Veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long-term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, education and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.
Huge donation came in this week!! Volunteers needed for inventory, stocking and organization in our warehouse! Monday through Friday this week (5/6 to 5/10).
We are looking for some additional support this Wednesday to help us with picking up donations and packing food bags for our upcoming Urgent Needs Drive Through Distribution. STEP has been actively supporting our military community throughout the COVID-19 crisis, ensuring our military and veteran families have the items they need. This week we will be preparing food, diapers and hygeine items for 300 military and veteran families in North County and we need your help to get these items ready!
We are keeping our volunteers and staff safe by adhering to all CDC, State and Local guidelines. Anyone
entering the office will have their temperature taken and masks are required. There are gloves available as
well as several stations where hand sanitizer is available. The need for our military families continues as we
work through these uncertain times. We looking for a volunteer that wants to make a difference for our
families.
