New Century Hospice invites you to join in our mission to profoundly improve the quality of our patient's lives. Volunteers are an essential part of our patients' care team and provide a variety of services depending on the volunteer's skills, interests, and time available. Bereavement volunteers will provide support to grieving families throughout the year following the loss of a patient. These individuals maintain regular communication with our patients' families and the Hospice Bereavement Coordinator.

Interested individuals should possess emotional maturity and sensitivity, good listening skills, ability to effectively communicate via telephone, as well as maintain confidentiality.

Orientation and training will be made available to all volunteers.
