Deliver Hot Meals to Homebound Seniors on Christmas

Do you have a couple of hours available on Christmas Day and want to do something charitable? How about delivering a hot meal to homebound seniors in Schenectady County?

When: Christmas - December 25
Where: Salvation Army @ 222 Lafayette St (corner of Lafayette & Smith streets), Schenectady
Time: Arrive as early as 9:30 am and no later than 10 am (most routes are completed by 12:00pm)

This is a great activity to include younger family members and inspire a charitable spirit and the gift of giving.

For more information and/or reserve a route, call Theresa Ashline at 518-372-5667, ext. 218 (tashline@cathcharschdy.org) by Monday, December 16 for Christmas volunteering. You must have access to a vehicle for this volunteer opportunity.

Description

Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services looks to provide a range of services to support quality of life for seniors. We currently provide an array of services to seniors including transportation, senior dining centers, home delivered meals, and health information, referral and case work program, eldercare program, respite program, support groups and a social adult day care program.
