Compassionate Care Hospice

Compassionate Care Hospice is looking for individuals that would be willing to keep hospice patients company. Each visit is as unique as the person. The time spent could consist of conversation, watching TV, reading out loud or sitting by the bedside quietly. Each visit will be rewarding, in the fact that, you have eased the boredom and loneliness that illness can bring.

We have a great training program that will prepare you for these visits. The first visit you are supervised by the volunteer coordinator, and given support throughout your volunteer career.

We run criminal background screening and require a 2-step PPD to test for tuberculosis.
