Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia is gearing up for our end of the season 5k! We need tons of volunteer power to make our 5k events a success, so we could really use your help! Being a 5k day volunteer is a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity.
We're looking for volunteers to help serve as our Start/Finish Line Volunteers! Start/Finish Line volunteers assist race operations staff to set up and break down the start and finish line along with passing out medals, water, and bananas. Timing wise, you'll need to arrive at the Volunteer Tent at 6:30am and you will be finished around 11:00am.

Description
Girls on the Run of NOVA advocates and delivers physical activity-based, positive youth development programs (PA-PYD) for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Loudoun, Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving more than 60,000 girls since 2000, GOTR NOVA works to engage the entire community to positively impact the health and well being of the girls of Northern Virginia, their families and communities, and the volunteer coaches who serve them.
