We need help with our building! There is a range of things that need to be done on an ongoing basis including:
- Small paint touch-ups: walk around the building and do quick fixes on chipped paint areas
- Drywall repair: Use a filling compound to fill in gouges, sand, and paint the area
- Nail and screw removal: We have several nails and screws sticking out of our walls from things there were hanging there. Help by removing those nails and patching the holes.
- Wall Painting: A couple of our walls need to be repaired, sanded, and painted
If you have the ability to do any of these things we could really use your help!
We appreciate your help in looking our best! Volunteers who donate their time to the museum are rewarded with passes and memberships.

The Great Lakes Children's Museum creates hands-on, interactive and informal educational environments for children and the adults in their lives that invite curiosity, allow exploration, and celebrate the child-like wonder in all of us.
Description
Volunteers are vital to making the Museum run smoothly. Volunteers make it possible for the Museum to offer exciting, educational, safe experiences for all our visitors. Contributing your time and skills benefits our community, while developing new skills and interests, meeting new friends, and making a difference in the life of a child. The Museum provides endless challenges for creativity, imagination, and exploration, and is currently looking for help to fulfill its mission. There is a variety of volunteer opportunities available, from one-time to short and long term.
