The Salvation Army has been providing Thanksgiving dinner to the hungry, homeless, poor, and lonely for more than a century. In fact, our largest annual sit-down meal is believed to be the oldest Thanksgiving dinner for those in need in New York City - if not the entire country.
Without the help of hardworking volunteers, we wouldn't be able to provide this much-needed community service. We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following roles:
- coat distribution
- greeting guests
- hostess
- servers
***However, if you would like to dress up in our Salvation Army Shield mascot costume, we are looking for energetic volunteers to fulfill this role***
