Join Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and the Student Conservation Association
on Saturday, November 17th to restore the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline in Eastbay Regional Park.

The Martin Luther King Jr. shoreline is a regional park located on the shores of the San Leandro Bay in Oakland, California. Part of the East Bay Regional Parks system, it is named after Civil Rights Movement leader Martin Luther King Jr. The park was established in 1993 on a 741 acres. SCA and MUFG have partnered to help to restore this shoreline.

WHEN: Saturday, November 17th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

WHERE: Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline Park, 1 Swan Way, Oakland, CA, 94621. Parking is available at the end of Arrowhead Marsh Trail.

From Doolittle Drive: Turn onto Swan Way and turn left at the parking lot. Drive up the paved road about 1 mile to a large parking area with an observation tower.
From Pardee Drive: Turn onto Sway Way and turn right at the parking lot. Drive up the paved road about 1 mile to a large parking area with an observation tower.

WHAT: Volunteers will help restore Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline Park by removing litter, weeding, and mulching.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

PROVIDED: SCA will provide light morning snacks and lunch for all volunteers, as well as reusable water bottles, gloves, and all project supplies.
