ORGANIZATION: Learning to Work

We are seeking recent Graduates from Russell Group universities or Oxbridge to guide some young hopefuls in the interview process for University places.

Did you or a colleague study at Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Imperial, King’s, Leeds, Liverpool, LSE, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Queen’s, Southampton, UCL, Warwick, York, Oxford, Cambridge to name a few? We need your help or if you know of someone who could help ...

It will be a full school day (8.30am-3pm) consisting of mentoring and supporting students in the morning prepare for their mock Oxbridge Interviews after lunch. Please see brief below:

8 x Business Volunteers conduct 1-2-1 interviews for up to 40 students from Year 13. The day comprises of individual 30 minute sessions (20 mins Interview/10 minutes feedback for every student). The student gains the confidence to speak to adults in a business setting, within the safety of the school at a mock interview for one of five imaginary roles. For many students this maybe their first experience of handling an interview situation and for many you would be a role model. Each interviewer will interview 5 students each.

This is a high calibre year group in a high performing Grammar School, so I would like to have people who have recently gained their degree and some who graduated in the past as the process is very different now.
