Come out and join thousands of LAUSD students, family members, employees, and community members in the LAUSD 5K "Move It!" Health & Wellness Festival. Young Scholars SMARTS Academy will be on hand to share information about the benefits of science, math, and arts education as well as how parents can become active partners in their children's education and information about the Young Scholars SMARTS Academy, a new public school expected to open in the fall of 2020. Our booth will have fun, raffles, free giveaways, games, and science, math, and arts activities for the whole family.
In addition to our booth, there will be many other activities such as:
- Fun and Exciting 5k and 1k Courses
- Health and Nutrition Workshops and Booths
- Free Dental Screenings
- Interactive Kids Zone filled with Games, Sports Clinics, and More!
