Our High Intermediate and Advanced ESL class needs a facilitator for our volunteer-led Conversation Club that is held directly after class every other week on Mondays, from 11:30-12:30. This position enhances our organization's services to English Language Learners. You'll arrive at 11 and leave shortly after 12:30 and gain two volunteer hours each session. You may gain extra hours preparing for the conversations on your own.

To be successful in this volunteer position:

  • Knowledge and experience in the field of English language learning or other teaching discipline or previous experience with adult education, or creating or running programs, or organizing projects or simply a love of helping others by engaging in light conversation.
  • Leadership Skills
  • 18 years old or older.
  • Able to commit to one hour every other week.
  • Appreciation of cultural diversity.
  • A happy person that enjoys having conversations with people.
