Join us for our annual Christmas Tree Recycling Event-'Bring One for the Chipper’! We'll be collecting Christmas trees to keep them out of the landfill and turned into mulch. As part of a statewide effort, this is one of our largest events during the year.
Adult volunteers over the age of 18 are needed for traffic control, counting cars, unloading trees and distributing seedlings to the participants.
Shifts are: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. & 12:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
We provide lunch for all the volunteers.

Description
Keep Smyrna Beautiful is a national and state award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. For 30 years, our nonprofit has brought together resources from government, businesses and citizens of Smyrna to protect and improve the quality of life and the environment in our community.
Our events make a difference in our community and for the environment by improving and beautifying public spaces, promoting litter prevention and reducing waste. Programs and services include: quarterly Adopt-a-Mile roadside litter pick-ups, free document shredding events, a River's Alive waterway clean-up, Bring One for the Chipper (a Christmas tree recycling event), an annual Garden Tour and other events scheduled as needed.
