This volunteer opportunity will be located at the Martin Luther King Center (MLK center). SimpleFolk Network is seeking your help and would love for you to assist us with serving the community on the Woodlawn/Avondale area for our 3-on-3 Don't Shoot Basketball Tournament. Join us for a special day for the community to connect, address and learn about gun violence, enjoy food, and organized games.
Volunteers Needed:
1. Set-up/Breakdown
2. Food Service
3. Crowd Control
Volunteers may be requested to help in other activities as needed and cleanup.

Description
Simplefolk Network hosts Urban Philanthropic (UP) events monthly. During UP Events like Clean Cars For Healing Scars, Lyrics For Literacy, and Funding Your Future, our goal is to contribute to our community’s health and invest into the lives the people we desire to know better. Every UP Event tackles a different topic, but the goal is always the same; we want to meet you, help you, and if by chance you don't know Jesus we love to introduce you to Him.
