When we have a dog or cat that needs veterinary care we have to drive him or her to an office for treatment. We use several different vets in the Fletcher - South Asheville area. We would like to have some volunteers we can call on to transport these animals back and forth. In most cases you would drop off the animal prior to treatment or pick up the animal later in the day after treatment is complete. No paperwork is involved. Payments are handled over the phone by shelter staff. This transportation is necessary at most a few times each week. Ideally you would be asked if you were available a day or so before except in emergency situations.

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue is a Western North Carolina non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would die without our intervention.
Description
We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization supported entirely by donor and grant monies. Some great dogs pass through our organization and we are so proud to help them find their way to their forever homes. Our facility and our foster system is almost always continuously full with 20+ dogs and 40+ cats.
