Grants Director - Volunteer Position
The Always Choose Adventures (ACA) organization is looking for a strong candidate to take-on the Grants Director - Volunteer position. The Grant Director - Volunteer Position will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, managing the grant development and proposal process, and collaborating with ACA constituents.

This position will also be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Meet with Executive Director and board of directors to identify areas of funding need
- Collaborate with the board of directors and/or committees to gather specific program data and rationale needed to develop a strong and effective grant application
- Research program funding opportunities specific to ACA programmatic goals and identify areas for ACA organizational alignment with major grantor giving goals
- Manage and submit all key requirements and grant submittal deadlines
- Seek letters of support or other required attachments to augment and strengthen the grant applications
- Notify the board of directors and/or committees of grant funding outcome
- If grants are awarded, work with the Board of Directors or committees to prepare any funding paperwork such as state contracts, and to prepare and submit any grant administrative reports during the term of the funding
- Track all proposed, pending and awarded grant programs
- Manage grant funds once received and submit grant reports by dedicated deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Background in non-profit grant writing or related industry is preferred
- Experience with a variety of grant submissions and management tools
- Skilled in use of G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with smaller non-profit structure and lean staff/volunteer environment
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills, and experience with AP writing style
