Heart to Heart Hospice

Heart to Heart is looking for A-MAIZING Ann Arbor based volunteers. At Heart to Heart Hospice, our mission is to provide compassionate and quality care to our patients. We strive to enhance the quality of life for a person that has a terminal illness and also support their family.

Our patients benefit greatly from having someone to talk to and the family members benefit because they are able to run an errand, or take a moment for themselves. Heart to Heart is looking for willing volunteers to spend up to a couple hours a month, or more, with our patients. No physical tasks would be involved and volunteering would include reading to a patient, going for a walk, watching TV, playing games, or simply being with the patient.

Description

Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
