Heart to Heart's Mission is to provide compassionate, empathetic and dignified care to those who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. We are looking for volunteers that not only want to affect someone's life in a positive way, but whom will also share our mission.
As a volunteer with Heart to Heart, you will be meeting with patients and potentially their families. When meeting with them, you may read to the patient, talk with them, play games/cards, do a puzzle, etc. The types of activities are endless but we will not ask you to do anything that requires physical lifting or patient care.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
