SCORE Miami is looking for volunteers to become subject matter experts (SME) with industry specific knowledge. This would require assisting our existing counselors/mentors with your in-depth knowledge and expertise on subject(s) matter(s). The volunteer expectations would be to provide your experience and knowledge through email, phone or in-person on specific questions or processes focused to you specific industry to a Mentor/ Clients. All communication would be directed through our mentoring group.
The time commitment would be on as needed bases subject to Mentor/Client requests for your industry specific knowledge.
SCORE is a Nationwide organization with 350 chapters and over 11,000 volunteers serving the small business community with Counselors/Mentors.

SCORE, America’s premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.
For over 50 years, SCORE’s thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
We provide:
- Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
- Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
- Free business tools, templates and tips online
- Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
