The Habitat Broward ReStore is a home improvement outlet that provides new and used home goods at discounted prices. Habitat for Humanity of Broward accepts donations at our ReStore to help us raise money to build homes with low-income families. The ReStore relies heavily on volunteer labor to help us in these efforts. Responsibilities:Provide customer service support to our Habitat ReStore by: Creating engaging text, image and video content for social media platforms Designing posts to create buzz around new products in the store and the corporations/individuals who donate them Researching audience preferences and discovering trends Facilitate online conversations with potential customers Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
Volunteer Impact: Volunteer will play a direct role in building strong, engaged online communities and identifying target customers who will potentially make purchases at the ReStore. The profits from the sale of items at the ReStore will go directly back into the community and enable Habitat Broward to build or repair more homes and serve more families in need.
Skill Qualifications:Volunteers must be flexible and have excellent written communication skills. A friendly, engaging attitude and a willingness to help diverse individuals is important. Experience with traditional and social media marketing as well as sourcing content required. Working knowledge of SEO, trending hashtags and analytics preferred.
