Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the assigned VA support team. The Administrative Assistant will support the VA Representative through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. They communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with in a timely manner. Ongoing duties include:
- Assist in the recruitment of volunteers to include postings and setting up interviews
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments when directed
- Maintain contact lists
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Process orders from the Angel Store
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Provide general support to the VA Representative and VAVS contacts
