Duties
These volunteers help create, design, & shape fundraising events and activities that will reflect the services The Center provides and encourage support in our cause. Volunteers also help with special events. These may include fundraising events, tabling events, community outreach, and more.
Qualifications
- This position requires an individual to have the ability to envision new ways to reach untapped supporters, inspiring and educating them on The Center as well as providing new insights to current fundraisers/events.
- The Fundraising/Special Events volunteer must complete our 38 hour volunteer training.
- Fundraising/Special Events volunteers are required to work a minimum of 1 event per month or attend at least 1 committee meeting per month.

Mission Statement
The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors has been a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1996. We provide free crisis services to victims of sexual assault (both children and adults), their family members, friends, dating partners or anyone seeking services related to overcoming sexual violence. The Center serves an active role in the reduction and elimination of sexual violence in our community by hosting ongoing education and awareness events, as well as providing training and technical assistance to allied professionals and the community.
Description
The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors provides crisis services, individual and group counseling to sexual assault victims and their families as well as community educational and awareness programs.
