URGENT 11/15: We Need Your Help To Build Children's Playhouse for Military Families

Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley’s Playhouse Program provides children in the community with a place to call their own while supporting our mission to provide families with affordable housing solutions.

We need your help prepping playhouse pieces for the builds! During a typical prep day, groups have the opportunity to machine cut and base paint playhouse pieces from raw plywood and paint playhouse parts.

For safety reasons, all volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers age 16 to 18 must bring a signed minor waiver form with them to the site. Minor waiver forms are available here: https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/2970065/PDFs/Get%20Involved/2018%20Minor%20Waiver.pdf

Playhouse Program provides children a playful retreat to call their own while supporting affordable housing in the Bay Area. At Habitat for Humanity Playhouse build days, Corporate, School, Faith, or Community groups sponsor a playhouse build. The sponsor team is lead by our Playhouse Staff to assemble and decorate children’s playhouses, which are then donated to families and local community charities. Flexible scheduling and location options make Playhouse Builds easy for teams and events of any size.
