We all know the universal boost to our spirit a visit to our favorite hair stylist can bring.
Imagine how much more that care and attention means for a patient in Hospice care when so many little pleasures have been lost in the process of decline. A fresh look can also give a fresh outlook on the time that is remaining. Please consider using your talents and time to bring smiles with the new hairdos
A little about us, we serve as part of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina serving our community for over a hundred years, Lutheran Hospice is a non-profit, ministry-based program serving people of all faiths and beliefs since 1995. Most of all, for staff and volunteers our work is not simply a job or service, it is a calling. Please visit our website at LutheranHospice.org for more information.
Your service as a Licensed Hair Care & Nail Care Provider with Lutheran Hospice Volunteer is one of the most rewarding ways to use your talents and time. We serve patients in locations around the Upstate, both in private homes and in facilities. Coordination of hair appointments are scheduled by the volunteer at times that are convenient for both with the patient, family and stylist. We would ask that you commit to a minimum of two appointments a month.

Description
We are a non-profit, ministry-based program serving people of all faiths and beliefs since 1995. Serving eleven counties, our tenured staff has more than 300 years of combined service. Local ownership and management also make a difference. Our staff lives and works in their community offering support to patients and their caregivers, for us it's not just a job it is a calling.
