Our Wednesday morning program in the Main Library's Children's Center is so popular that we are experiencing stroller gridlock outside the program area!
We are looking for two or more volunteers to check in and park strollers from 10:00 a.m., keep an eye on them during the program (storytime + playtime), and reunite them with their rightful owners by around 11:30 a.m. This may involve a claim check system.
If you enjoy a bit of hustle and bustle, can stay calm and collected under a bit of pressure, and would like to make storytime easier on the grown ups and more enjoyable for the kiddos, we'd love to talk to you. Hoping to find volunteers who can serve for at least three months.
