JFS's Senior Community Center in Delray Beach is looking for 2-4 volunteers to teach beginners canasta to our seniors. This would be on Tuesdays, from 12:00pm - 2:30pm. Responsibilities would include overseeing and assisting the members as they are learning to play canasta. Some might need a little guidance to brush up on their skills. For others, this is a game they've always wanted to learn how to play.
Must have an outgoing personality, a positive approach to teaching and a great deal of kindness and patience. You should be able to stand and walk around the room to assist people.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share your knowledge of a game you love!
