Here's your chance to really make a difference in someone's life.
Kenneth Young Center provides community mental health and older adult services to the northwest suburbs. Clients and their families come to us in some of their most desperate moments. As a HANDYPERSON, you'll be providing basic, handymanskills (basics in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work or trouble-shooting) to help seniors with small jobs in their homes. These jobs are typically ones in which the seniors haven't the knowhow, strength or finances to tackle. This is an "as-needed" opportunity, so you might be called upon a few hours each month for different home-bound senior citizens. Kenneth Young Center provides community mental health and senior services to the northwest suburbs. Clients and their families come to us in some of their most desperate moments, and we help by providing: Service coordination and in-home services for frail elderly persons.
