Meet Tyrone! He's got a diverse range of interests, including watching TV and movies; going to car shows; reading and writing poetry; taking photos and videos; and going to fairs, festivals and carnivals.
Tyrone loves being social and having conversations with people, but having a developmental disability sometimes makes it harder to meet and make friends.
Being a Community Friend volunteer is a great way to make a big impact in a small amount of time. CCBDD's Community Friend program offers high-flexibility and low commitment, but the results are tremendous. Community Friend volunteers are required to meet with their match once a month for 2-3 hours per outing. That's it!
Can you help make a positive impact on his life by being his Community Friend?
