Do you play guitar or piano? Do you like to sing? Do you love to make others smile and help bring back fond memories?
We are an assisted living facility located in East Hollywood looking for some volunteers to come and do a relaxed sing along, hopefully once a week. Our residents really respond well to music and song, and I would love to begin implementing a sing along they can participate in with live music.
This person would ideally have a prepared list of songs they could pick from ranging from the 40s to the 80s. They could sing the same songs each week, or come up with new ones.
We are hopefully looking to fill a spot in our schedule on Monday afternoons, between 1:00pm to 4:00pm for an hour, but can be flexible on the date and time if no one is available at that time.

We strive to make smiles occur even on the gloomiest of days. We would like to begin implementing a volunteer program to give residents another thing to look forward too.
We are seeking volunteers of all ages to perform for the residents (i.e. singing, playing an instrument, magic, dance, etc.) during the week days.
